Who is responsible
Harikrishnan Unnikrishnan, trading as ClickVitals, is the controller of the personal data described here. Our postal address is 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected]. Registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, reference ZC286388.
What we collect, and why
- Subscribers. Your email address, the channel you name, your plan and payment dates, so we can provide the service you paid for (contract). Stripe collects your card and billing address; we never see your full card number.
- Channels we check. Through YouTube API Services we read public data about a channel: its name, video titles, descriptions, view counts and thumbnails, and we check where each description link goes. For subscribers this is the service itself. We keep data from YouTube for no more than 30 days unless we refresh it.
- Creators we contact. We may email creators in the United States, using the business email they publish on their YouTube channel, about dead links we found on their channel (our legitimate interest in telling them, and in offering the service). Each email says where we found the address. Reply and we delete it and never contact you again. A report page made for you is deleted after 30 days.
- Former subscribers. For 3 years after a subscription ends we keep a keyed one-way code made from the channel, email and card fingerprint, with the dates, so the once-per-channel refund and the first-subscription loyalty offer can be applied fairly (legitimate interest). It cannot be read back without our secret key.
- Records the law requires. Payment and refund records, kept for six years for tax (legal obligation).
YouTube API Services
ClickVitals uses YouTube API Services to read public channel data. Google’s handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We never ask for access to your YouTube or Google account. To have the data we hold about your channel deleted, email us; we do it within 7 days.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run ClickVitals for us: Stripe (payments), Resend (sending reports and notices), Zoho (our mailbox), Cloudflare (hosting the website) and Google (YouTube API Services, and the fonts this site loads, which share your IP address with Google). Some are in the United States; transfers rely on the UK–US data bridge or the provider’s standard contractual clauses. We never sell personal data.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Stripe’s checkout and billing pages set their own cookies under Stripe’s policy.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to take it elsewhere. You can object to marketing at any time and we will stop. Email us; we reply within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, tell us first so we can put it right, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not track you across other sites, so we do not respond to Do Not Track signals differently.
Children
ClickVitals is for adults running a channel. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will email subscribers before any change that affects them, and show the date of the last change at the top of this page.
